Chances are very good that you’ve never had the opportunity to learn much about English pronunciation and even less about actual accent. Accent training is rarely a part of English training curricula and I would guess that many of your former teachers didn’t even speak to you in English very much- if at all!
Add to that another problem. As adults, we honestly can’t hear the difference between certain sounds and rhythms that are new to us unless someone really points them out. Until we recognize them and learn how to make them, they will never find their way into our speech.
But don’t worry. It doesn’t mean you cannot change your pronunciation or accent. You just need the right instruction. That’s what we do. We show you what you are missing and teach you how to add it into your speech so you sound great.
You can choose to learn the American Accent on your own through our awesome self-study course, or we can match you up with a private coach!
Your coach will help you as you go through the course and give you extra training as well as constant feedback on how you are doing.
We have two ways you can work with a coach. Both of them can be done via internet so it doesn’t matter where you are in the world.
